A Sweet Celebration
I have a very rowdy cell group. Attributed mainly to the fact that we have many kids in the cell group. Believe it or not, the number of kids in the cell groups nearly equals to the number of adults we have. =P
The main reason is that I have 2 families in my cell group, both with FOUR KIDS! I mean, how many families in Singapore actually have 4 kids, and I have 2 of such families in my cell group alone?! Plus the 2 kids I have, we have a total of 10 children in the cell group! They have their own “cell group meeting” in a separate bedroom while the adults have ours in the living room. =)
This is one of the families with 4 girls – Peter & Claire! Their 4th kid is one month older than Baby Jayne.
It was Claire’s birthday on Friday, and we celebrated for her. See the cake below? It was a cake decorated by her eldest daughter. Her hubby was so sweet to bring the cake over to our house earlier so that it will be a surprise for his wife. =)
How sweet, right?
It’s no wonder Claire’s laughing so happily! When she heard that the cake was decorated by her eldest daughter, I thought I saw her eyes go watery. I am sure she was very touched. :))
Whenever I get so exhausted from taking care of my 2 kids, I think of these wonder mummies in my cell group, and tell myself that if they can manage 4 kids with a smile on their faces, I can surely handle my 2 kids with a great attitude too! Haha!
