Today Was Fun!

I had an awesome day today.

After sending Joey to school, went back home to finish my work, then took a short nap before heading for late lunch at Sakae Sushi with Isaiah, then we jetted off to fetch Joey again.

When we picked up Joey, one of the teachers spoke briefly to us, and told us that she feels Joey is performing very well. Although the hours were long, she adapted very well, and was only teary on Day 1. Other than that, she has been behaving really well. Thumbs up, Joey! =D

We left a surprise in the car for her, to encourage her for adapting so well to her new lifestyle. I really think she deserved a pat on her back. :)

Then off we went to East Coast Park to meet my parents for dinner. Before they arrived, we had a really relaxing time on the beach. What a very rejuvenating feelling an almost-empty beach gives! The smell of the sea, the breeze, the sand, the setting sun.... I wish time stood still...

Spotted this stretch of the beach with lots of beautifully-created sandcastles. They look almost impossible to be built!

My great day did not end here... Had a good dinner, then we went karaoke with my parents and brother!!! Woooo hooo... when was the last time we all went for karaoke together??!!! Heee.. the most fun part was listening to my daddy singing oldies and hokkien songs! Super entertaining.. Haha...
