Feel BIG, not small!

I am troubled by this recently, because I realised that many friends around me have very low opinion of themselves and constantly think that they are very small, and can't do much. Among these people, most of them are Christians. And that's what saddens me. As children of God, we should feel BIG, and not small.

Of cos, I don't mean we have to be proud or arrogant. I am referring to the importance of knowing who we really are in God. We are precious to Him. We are not tiny and small creatures who can't amount to much.

When we think to ourselves that we are small, and can't be used by God in this kingdom, we are simply insulting God. As simple as that. It's not about being humble. It's about knowing so little about our God. Remember the bible says that we are created in the image of God? So, how little can we be when our God is SO SO BIG? Stop that ungodly thinking of yours!

We got to get this into our minds. If we constantly think that we are small and feel inferior infront of other people, that's what we are going to be all our lives - small and insignificant. God cannot use people who cannot face up to the truth that we can do great things for Him. If we put a limit on ourselves, that's exactly where we are going to stay. We just don't progress beyond what we think we can achieve.

So, if you are thinking to yourself today, why you are still not rising up as a leader in church, or used in a much greater way by God, start by asking yourself - "Have you dealt with that inferior complexity in you?" That's exactly what's stopping you from your breakthrough and from being promoted by God! Don't think to yourself that opportunities are not given to you, or other people are more favoured by God or the leaders in church, because if you think small of yourself, no one can think big of you.

But if you can get past that barrier, the possibilities are endless. Endless.

Don't let the teeny weeny self esteem of yours get in the way. Step out in faith today! Know, and know it well, that you are someone significant to God, not a small worm you think you are.
