From Sebana with love...
We're back! Time really flies when we are on holiday, isn't it?? : ) But God is good, although there's nothing much to do at Sebana Cove, we did have a good time relaxing & resting - something we don't usually get to do in Singapore. Haha.. I think both of us are workaholics, when we are at home, we are usually glued to our laptops doing some work. Work is afterall neverending. So, at Sebana, we didn't have our laptops with us, and it felt exceptionally strange but very relaxing!
Sebana Cove is very quiet at this part of the year, cos I guess people avoid beaches during monsoon seasons. But we didn't go to the beach at all, just eat & sleep & watch TV in the room. Slept so much that it's such a luxury! Haha... Funny ah, go on holiday to sleep.. But it's really a rare chance that we can do that at leisure! : )
Although there's nothing really exciting about Sebana Cove, what I really liked about the place was the peace & the tranquility. There is an unspoken ease in the air, and when you are there, watching the yatches parked at the dock, it just felt so calming & soothing. The waters are so still, and like a mirror. I even told Isaiah it looked like I could walk on it. Unbelievably still & clear. Staring at the waters & the surroundings make you sink into a silence that is comfortable yet very rejuvenating for the soul & the body.
Take a look at this flash I created... it's just bits & pieces of the trip, but i guess it captures the essence of what this trip was all about... for relaxation & rejuvenation. : )
