Walk & Eat & See.... Walk & Eat & See.....
After my usual checkup with Dr Chew today, we went to have dim sum at Crystal Jade at Taka with Mum. Woo... Had so much good food! I had century egg & lean meat porridge (heavenly heavenly delicious!), Dear Dear had fresh prawn dumpling noodles (which he said was fabulous) and we also ordered a few side dim sum dishes. Got my favorite yam ball, har gao (prawn dumpling), lotus leaf rice, some fried beancurd thingy.. woo... it was such a great & satisfying meal!
After that, we went to do some shopping at Pacific Plaza because Dear Dear wanted to look for snow caps and the aussie surfers' shops are all there like stussy, roxy, quiksilver... We also popped by the Addidas shop at Pacific Plaza (if you don't know, this Addidas shop is different from other Addidas in Singapore. This is the only shop in Southeast Asia that sells limited edition/ collectors' items for Addidas. Many tourists come specially just to buy from that shop.) And mum very generously bought Dear Dear a new pair of shoes! Woo.. nice!
Then mum decided that she wants to get her own digital camera so that she can take photos of Joey without having to use our complicated S5000. So we took a cab all the way to Sim Lim Square to buy her camera. She got such a lovely digital Olympus camera at $300 plus!
After that, we walked to Selegie soya beancurd for some refreshing beancurd & soya bean milk. Wooo.. very nice..
By now, i am so exhausted from all the walking that we finally decided to go home..
But when we reached Sunplaza, we decided to have coffee at the foodcourt before going home. It turned out to be a full meal where I ate fried carrot cake with mum & Dear Dear ate kway chap.. Hahaha... We really know how to eat ah!
