My Off Day
It's my off day today! My dear hubby and mother in law helped to look after joey while I went out to get my hair done. My MIL even told me to jalan around more since I'll be going back to work next week! Do you know when was the last time I went to a hair salon?? It was when I was about 3 months pregnant! I went to rebond my hair because I was planning not to do anything else to my hair till after I delivered joey. That was 10 months ago! Oh man..
But I really got so bored of sitting in the salon today. 5 whole hours doing rebonding!?! I think I almost read every single magazine in the salon and the stylist probably thought I'm so funny cos I kept asking them to bring me new magazines...
Was initially planning on a eyebrow trimming and manicure as well today, but only managed to get my eyebrows trimmed. So coincidental that when I went to the nail spa, they said they're already fully booked. No choice bah, maybe go another day loh.
People who know I have this habit of biting my fingernails are probably wondering to themselves how come I am going for a manicure! Haha.. actually, after my C-section operation, to prevent myself from coughing (which will immediately bring immense pain in thr wound), I stopped biting my nails cos it may make my throat itchy. That's why my nails are long now! But please don't think that this is my 1st time keeping my nails. When it comes to important events, I will try my best to keep them long. The last time I did that was when I got married. hehe..
So with rebonded hair and trimmed eyebrows, I decided to shop around alittle. Alas! At the 1st shop I landed up in, I spent all the budget I planned to use! It's the M-Industries shop.. Mickey Mouse merchandise are going at incredible discounts of up to 70%! I got a really nice top at $9 when the usual price was $29!! And I also bought a cool mini skirt. wee wee..
That's happy me at the end of my pamper-myself-day!
