Anniversary @ Taiwan (Part II)

The highlight of our 2nd day in Taiwan is the visit to 淡水! It's probably one of our favourite places among the places we visited, cos it's different from the usual shopping hunts. This is in fact a popular place for people to come catch the sunset. :)

Still, because it's Taiwan we're talking about, they have the usual shopping & food bazaar, and it's super crowded!

The streets were bustling with activities... people doing portraits, clay moulding, etc. And what can be a better thing to do than sitting down at a sidewalk cafe and sipping a nice drink while waiting for the sunset.. :)

We just sat at the wooden benches overlooking the sea and the setting sun and snapping photo after photo. The whole experience was so rejuvenating and therapeutic, I tell you. Felt so peaceful and calm just watching the sun set slowly. Beautiful. =)

It's moments like these that make time stand still. :)

i think it has to do with the fact that u r overseas with the person u love most in the world.. on holidays, just the 2 of u, nothing to bother u, which just makes everything seem so perfect and peaceful.

=) i love holidays.

errr well, it was not exactly totally nothing to bother me, cos some things did crop up at work.. but Thank God for good colleagues who were willing to stand in the gap for me while I was watching the sun go down. I mean, I was already very thankful for that.. :)
