15 Minutes
Located within the compounds of La Salle School of Design is a nice restaurant – 15 Minutes.
Several friends asked me before I went, whether everything will be served within 15 minutes. Haha! I wish! But 15 minutes is actually named so because they have a stage inside the restaurant and they hold mini concerts frequently, for people who wish to display their talents. 15 minutes of fame, they call it.
The restaurant has many different kinds of seating – bar counter seats, canteen-style long table seats, high table & chair seats and normal square table seats. The whole restaurant is divided into 2 levels with a super high ceiling. Makes dining a really nice experience!
They use the self-service concept here. You queue to order your food at the counter, then bring back to your seat this buzzer. When your food is ready for collection, the buzzer rings & flashes light.
They serve sandwiches, pizza, pasta, western main courses (fish & chips etc), shaker salads etc. Most are priced below $8 except for the main courses which are around $10.
We both ordered the spicy prawn aglio olio & shared chicken wings.
I think the food is fab! Definitely wanna go back there again. =D
