Celebrating Women’s Day With NanzInc!

Very happy and privileged to be invited to a luncheon hosted by NanzInc and Overeasy restaurant yesterday! Overeasy sits along 1 Fullerton and is a wonderful restaurant that serves up awesome food. You’ll see in a while! =D

What a lovely and calm place. I like 1 Fullerton!

Overeasy is one of the restaurants under the Lo & Behold Group, which also owns The White Rabbit at Dempsey.

 

The restaurant is modern and contemporary, and the food is simply awesome!

A drink to start us off – Mint Lemonade. Refreshing & cool!

Nacho chips with 2 dips: Guacamole & Spicy Sausage. This is like the best I’ve tried. Ever.

We could choose between tomato or mushroom soup and I had the latter. Big portion and very yummy.

 

Duck confit salad – Wonderfully made and even has mandarin oranges in it! A nice touch. :)

Fries!!! All-time favorite and this was even cooked in truffle oil! Superb.

Mini burgers – One huge chunk of beef steak under each of those little buns!! Very nice.

Baked cheese macaroni. This is seriously the nicest cheese macaroni I’ve ever tasted. It was not too cheesy, just light and right, and the generous topping of bread crumbs on it was a big plus! It was crispy and very fragrant!

You must be wonderful which one is my main course. Haha! Those were all just starters! Here’s the main course:

Linguine with Prawns. Perfecto.

After all the nomming comes dessert time. Both are super yummy - Brownie & apple crumble!

Now that I’m done with all the food, I should tell you about all the wonderful people I met at the lunch! There were slightly over 10 of us, women from all walks of life. Some are stay-at-home mums, some are writers, some are online business owners, etc. But one thing is common among us – We are all women with big dreams and passion for life! I had a great time chatting with everyone and just celebrating Women’s Day together.

Although I’ve known them for several years, but this is the first time we could sit down and chat!

NanzInc gave each of us a special gift, which I was thought was just so pretty and useful!
