Islamic: Nice Nasi Bryani

My colleague drove us to a nice Nasi Bryani restaurant, Islamic, sometime last week. The restaurant is located at North Bridge Road, and obviously a famous restaurant among the Malay community because we saw many Malays dining there.

It was an interesting mix of retro and cultural displays outside the shop.

We walked up to Level 2 of the shop to the air-conditioned dining area. The stairway was interesting too!

The 2nd level was surprisingly very nicely furnished! A big difference from the casual decor on Level 1. Here, you’d see lots of linen furnishings and lavish Malay decor.

Fellowship with good friends is always enjoyable.

There’re many different kinds of Nasi Bryani on their menu. I chose the Fried Chicken Nasi Bryani, which was YUMMY!

The rice grains were special – Very long and narrow. Makes an interesting chewing experience. Heee..
