Games Night Out!
Yesterday we had a fun night's out. Pretty brainless but exactly what I needed. : )
I was actually very zonked the whole day, cos slept only about 4 hours the night before and early on sat morning went to sentosa to help out for the Extreme Adventure event. It was very tiring, but fun lah.. Seeing the youths in our church running for their school's glory makes me proud of them.
Then at night, my cell group went to Settlers Cafe... a cool place where we just chilled out, and played alot of board games & silly games. Never heard of most of the games there before, so it was really quite fun. We were so loud and excited that Isaiah's cell group kept shoo-ing us to be quiet.. haha.. (oh ya, it's a double-date cellgroup outing) hee... Then, all of a sudden, there was a power failure! Yo... exciting... and Annie dear immediately shouted 'Ready Bag!!!'.. hahaha... hilarious.. but it got very stuffy & hot too after a while. Nevertheless, we still managed to play a round of very exciting Uno Stackos, using the light from our handphones... hee...
Then Estee got an idea that we can ask the cafe to switch off the lights again for us later when the power comes back on, so we can fake another power failure, but in actual fact we were celebrating Nan Yen's birthday.. hoho... our plan worked well, cos when the power went off again, everyone started to sing the happy birthday song and Nan Yen sang along with us..... until she heard.. 'Happy birthday to Nanyen!!!'... hahahaha..... she was so shocked... but really funny.. we had alot of fun...
I think the celebration took the energy out of everyone... so after that, we were quite zonked... haha.... I think we spent too much energy on the first part of the evening liao... heee... But on the whole, it was really fun... I haven't laughed so much for so long liao.. :)
