This is one of my most favourite songs. We don't sing it in church anymore because it's such an old song, but we sing them all the time in weddings. I love it that we sing the song when I play for the wedding. Everytime I sing it, tears will well up in my eyes. The lyrics and the melody are so beautiful.

Just like what the song says in the chorus, I believe a Christian's life is all about reaching for God. The moment we discover that we are called unto Jesus, we start reaching out to Him. In everything we need, we reach out in faith. In everything we do not understand, we reach out for Him. In every situation, we reach out for His power and understanding. And as we reach out to Him, the power of heaven will reveal to us the purpose in our lives. Amazing.

No one can truly say that he has arrived. Not Pastor Kong, not Benny Hinn, not Reinhard Bonkes. Everyone of us are constantly reaching out to God for more wisdom, more anointing, more revelation, more direction. We really need God in every aspect of our lives. If anyone says he does not need God, he is a fool. Because even looking at the small ants crawling across the floor, one cannot help but be amazed at what a wonderful Creator our God is.

He lifts us above our fears. He sets our feet on solid ground. It is awesome to wonder about the love of Jesus in my life. I thank God for His great love and His hold on my life. And I want to keep on reaching out to God. I want more of Him in my life. More and more. Everyday.
