Many Joyous Occasions
Sunday was City Harvest Church's 17th anniversary as a church & also Pst Kong's 20th year in ministry. Double happiness this year!
For the past few years, we have been celebrating our church anniversary in the Indoor Stadium and because it always coincides with Singapore' National Day, we will always do the usual flag waving along to the tune of 'Stand Up for Singapore!' It feels good, really, to be a part of this great church in this wonderful country.
The church prepared a surprise for Pst Kong. He probably didn't think that we would celebrate his 20th year in ministry. A tribute video was screened for him, carrying comments from pioneers and staff in the church who had been impacted greatly by our Senior Pastor. Even though I was watching from the overflow room, I could see that Pst was very happy & touched. Especially when Sun called in from LA and thanked him for being the best pastor to her, I think Pst was close to tears. Really touching. Frankly, Pst deserved much more than these. He is a great pastor and a wonderful boss.
After service, we took photos before we leave for Marina Square for another joyous event!

It's Isabel's birthday celebration! We ate at Changing Appetites & man, the food is GOOD!
