Celebrating Gerald’s Birthday @ Orchid Live Seafood Restaurant

On the recommendation of my friend, I went to have dinner at the Orchid Live Seafood Restaurant in Sembawang, to celebrate Gerald’s birthday.

Located at No. 1 Bah Soon Pah Road, this place reminded me of Malaysia… It has a very rural feel!

The seafood are all reared in tanks and killed when ordered. Very fresh seafood indeed.

The interesting thing is that this place was just next to a organic vegetable farm. Educational tours are available and you can also purchase the organic vegetables directly from them.

I told you this place is rural!

Somehow, it gave me a very peaceful and tranquil feeling looking at the fresh and green crops. :)

They even have a few of these kind of pavilions, and you can have drinks inside with your friends.

Now to the food!!!! They taste as good as they look!

Black pepper beef

Stir-fried kailan

Steamed Prawns with garlic (Very fresh!)

Specialty Chicken (sweet & crispy! yums to the max!)

Steamed fish (very super fresh!)

Chili Crabs (this is only mediocre… Jumbo’s much better)

Black Pepper Crabs (Nice!)

The food was quite expensive but tasted good on the whole. =) Just hope that seafood-lover Gerald enjoyed his feast!

After dinner, we adjourned for coffee & gave him his present!

As you can see, my girl is helpful as usual. =P
